Well I've been saying I'll do a yarn giveaway and after some stash diving I've come up with this lovely skein
It's "In the Navy" and is a nice deep dusty navy semi-solid yarn. Would make lovely socks for a man or woman and I'm finding it really hard to give it away!
In order to enter you need to leave a comment on this post; I'd love it if you followed my blog as well but you're still in if you don't. I will send anywhere, but it will take a little longer if you're not in NZ.
ETA: I will be closing this off on Wednesday 9am NZ time.
Oh, and here's a gratuitous kitty photo, the cage is around the fire, not a bird luckily, but isn't she gorgeous?

Hi Rachelle, jumped here from TNN and I'm so glad I did. I too am an across the board crafter but YOU seem to be much more organised than I am. Will be following with interest and taking some inspiration from you - would love to spin one day. Beautiful VP yarn - DH needs new socks - would be perfect to replace the holey ones!
I so plan to knit me some socks this year! I've knit socks, hats and slippers for my husband who moans frequently how none of my knitting is every for him - and now I realise it's about time I knit something for me!

That is a really generous gift to give away - I can understand your reluctance as I know just how lovely VP yarn is! Your phot of it is beautiful, too, shows up the colours beautifully. Don't cats always manage to find the very best places to sit? How come I haven't bookmarked your blog before? It certainly is now, thanks for pointing it out!
I would really like to knit a pair of tardis socks, and this yarn looks absolutely perfect for it.

Here's a little reciprocal blog comment loving :) And bonus with the yarn giveaway possibility! I love Morag's yarns.

Would love to knit some socks! I have added you to my list of favourite blogs :-)
Sorry Sumella, it closed yesterday and has been drawn. Webfrau was the lucky winner. I will probably do other draws in the future, but not just yet a while.
